SEUNGMIN

Kim Seungmin (김승민) is the main vocalist of K-Pop group Stray Kids. He was born on September 22, 2000 in Seoul, South Korea. He is fluent in Korean and English and was a host on After School Club in the second half of 2018. He is one of the two members in the VOCALRACHA unit.

Seungmin’s role in Stray Kids was the most affected by the departure of the previous main vocalist, as it was up to him to fill his shoes. Though he debuted as a lead vocalist, Seungmin gained a lot more responsibility in the group as the main vocalist, showcasing his improvement beautifully in tracks such as “청사진 (Blueprint)” and “미친 놈 (Ex).” He regularly releases covers for Stray Kids' SKZ-RECORD on YouTube. In October 2021, Seungmin released “Here Always,” Part 7 of the soundtrack for 갯마을 차차차 (Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha). This marks his first solo release and is also the first member of Stray Kids to do so.

He also known to be a big fan of labelmate DAY6 and his catchphrase is “Seungmin in the building!”
